RAFA TAPESTRIES
Immersive realms take shape as RAFA steps into the world of tapestries where art and design seamlessly come together. Drawing from a strong background in textile manipulation & pattern-making, the brand translates sentiments of connection and comfort into three dimensional tufted rugs that take a life of their own.
Surpassing the confines of traditional carpets, the RAFA tapestries are designed in different compositions allowing them to extend onto walls or even ceilings. All the tapestries feature integrated mounds, that serve as functional furniture pieces inviting people to lay directly on their surface, evoking the sensation of resting in nature. The result is a sensory journey where the enthralling fluid patterns interlaced with varied wool textures allow users to transcend into another dimension.
The mélange of colors, textures and forms aim to rekindle our inherent connection to nature, reminding us of its healing properties which as time progresses, and due to human actions, are becoming more and more elusive.
Moj carpet 2023
‘MOJ’ envisions an alternative seaside experience that can be set up anywhere, inviting people to come together and interact in an informal manner. Through this series, RAFA conjures imaginative landscapes that offer spaces of comfort and ease.

Gently Down The Stream 2024
Custom piece for Yassmin El Saleh showroom in Beirut. Inspired by the tranquility of a river stream, the tapestry replicates a riverside experience.
Handwoven to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the carpet guides visitors to discover the space with its fluid form and warm colors.
